"It was me and my father’s first time visiting this location a couple days ago. I just happened to find it when searching for the nearest restaurant after leaving the train station. The food was great, we were both very pleased. I had mac n cheese/fried chicken/cabbage. My father had salmon/yams/mac n cheese. The place was peaceful and the people working there were very pleasant. 5/5 stars! If I’m ever passing through Trenton again I’ll be sure to stop by for a plate and I’d absolutely recommend it!"
"The food is delicious. You can tell the people making the food enjoy putting out quality products. It's refreshing to see people take pride in their work. I do have to try the cabbages, almost every customer walked in talking about those cabbages. Thanks Traceys Kitchen. Ask about the the lunch special."
"Could not be more happy that my boyfriend and I stopped here for something to eat. We had to kill some time waiting for the DMV down the street. We quite hungry and were told a Dunkin was close by. Passed this gem on our search and was greeted by Jay who was very welcoming. Decided to give it a try and am so happy we did. Food was amazing, atmosphere was relaxing and staff was friendly and helpful. We had the chili chicken and shrimp with yams, mac n cheese and rice. Definitely brightened our day and made our stomachs very happy!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious bite or wonderfully made soul food!"
