"Our church (University Park Church of the Brethren) bought a Vulcan 10 burner/2 oven stove a little over 2 years ago. It is used relatively infrequently but was not cleaned properly after each use. Consequently the food was burned onto the surfaces and began to look a mess. I tried cleaning it myself to no avail. I emailed Calamus Enterprises and explained our situation, and sent pictures of the stove/oven’s condition. I was contacted quickly via email after each inquiry, and given a quite reasonable quote based on our situation. When we decided to have it done, we were scheduled with in 3 days. Mike Calamus and his assistant showed up exactly on time and began work. They finished on time and did an excellent job of cleanup afterwards. The stove was thoroughly steam cleaned top to bottom and inside out, and the stainless steel polished on external surfaces. During the cleaning process Mike showed me the products to use to do basic cleaning ourselves and how to clean the various parts. We will most definitely do a better job of basic cleaning ourselves, but intend to have Calamus return once per year to do a refined cleaning and extensive cleaning of all of the cast iron works which requires significantly more expertise and expensive equipment. Calamus taped the cleaning process for their own training and use, and offered it to us to show our people how to do basic cleaning. I highly recommend this company for its excellent quality of service, timeliness of response and integrity."
