"I am not, in any way, attempting to slander the business or location. I hope the employee can correct their behavior. I went to grab some lunch while working today, and everything seemed to be going great as usual. As soon as I went to pay for my things, I placed the items on the counter. I greeted the employee at the counter with kindness and was met with nothing but aggression. I’ve never had a negative experience with anyone at this location, as I work in the area often and stop by for lunch/drinks/snacks, etc. It was an older lady with glasses. Mary, I believe is the name I saw on the name tag she had on. Again, I hope it was a one time occurrence. If she was having a bad day or not in a good mood, hopefully she finds a resolve and is kinder to others. I inserted the debit card I had, but the reader had malfunctioned or I might’ve done something wrong. She began to take a condescending tone with me, asking me what I was doing. I was completely caught off-guard by the hostility in her voice “What are you doing?” and simply replied “What it’s asking to do, I inserted it.” After this, she kept giving me attitude so I just finished paying, took the card and went to pay for my food and shrugged it off. I genuinely hope that this was a one time thing and hope no one else has a negative experience like this. That the employee doesn’t lash out at people like this regularly. The food and drinks are always good, but the service was definitely 1 star this trip."

"I've been to many wawas around nj as my job has a lot of travel. Might be one of the worst experiences I've had with a wawa. The lady that was making sandwiches rudely answered a simple question. Low and behold for me to see the picture of the GM on the wall and it was the same lady. I got chicken strips that were legit not edible. Couldn't even bite through them. Then when I went inside to request a new one the young lady who helped me went over to the GM and told her, I watched her roll her eyes give me a rude glare and tell the employee to remake my food. I then saw her walking my direction thinking of maybe she's going to apologize for the inconvenience. Nope just walked over to some boxes and started doing something legit a few feet from me. My replacement chicken strips were also not edible. But instead of wasting my breath and more time out of my day I just choose to never go to this location when I'm in the area. I'd rather go to 7/11."

"What's the deal with the woman in front of me chatting with the cashier? I ended up having to go around the counter to another cashier!!! I just wanted to get my coffee paid for! What inconvenience! Keep your socializing limited to during lunches and breaks. Management doesn't respond to the numerous complaints as listed in these reviews. Corporate headquarters needs to do something about this franchise."

"This is one of my usual beverage and bathroom stops on my way to Newark or NYC from my parents home. While it is a smaller Wawa, it is clean and has a good selection. I’ve never seen a large queue for the checkout so you can get in and out quickly."

"Great Wawa!!! From the Employee's Customer Service to the many, Many, MANY different "Al la Carte" style food and drink choices. This is always a definite stop for me! Whether it be a morning cup of coffee and a FRESH doughnut or a lunch stop for a Red Bull Sandwich/Steak Quesadilla/Salad & Soup!...With everything Reasonably priced and the food tasting like FOOD not fillers/preservatives. I'm Happy! The only negative situation or experience I/you'll encounter here is a 5-10min line wait which you'll encounter because so many people go here because it's that awesome... But, the *BRIEF* wait can be time well spent when you order something to eat and it's Fresh and Ready/Almost Ready by the time you pay! And even better with Wawa mobile app just pre-order and pick it up!"
