"This was about a month ago. I figured I'd let people know that the service here has definitely gone downhill in the last few years that we've taken our pet here. We had called the emergency number before they opened. She was gonna have us go in before she arrived and was planning to have the nurses get our dog on seizure medicine until she arrived. Well, we thought about going to Virginia, so she sent the information for our dog there, but it would've been a 3 hour wait time there, so we decided to go here without calling back. We arrived there and the receptionist told us to sit and wait that she would check us in. Our dog started seizing up in my arms while we were sitting waiting. 30 minutes of this goes by, and nothing was done about the situation. Two nurses walk by and see us crying feeling helpless since we couldn't do anything for our dog, but nothing was said or done they actually tried everything to avoid eye contact. We got up and left to another vet in Petersburg, which reacted in a fast-paced manner. We've been taking our pets here for years, but that day was by far the worst of all. I'm sorry, but they definitely lost our trust in this veterinarian office and will never go back."
