"We've had such a mixed experience with this place. The place seems clean and is nicely set up. The manicures are generally good (and they offer a wide range) but for pedicures, I've always had the older guy and did not enjoy the experience. My last pedicure (in the spring) was actually painful - he was so rough that I started bleeding around the big toe. After that I decided not to go back. That said, my teenage daughter has always been happy with her manicures so I agreed to take her back this past weekend. I called to make an appointment but somehow, there was a mix-up with the time, and they just had her sit there for a long time, mostly ignoring her. Eventually, she got a spot but after the service started, the guy left her for a whole 7 minutes. Then he came back and asked if she could pay before the service (this had never happened to us before). At that point, I had left to run a quick errand - upon receiving my daughter's text, I rushed back. No one acknowledged me when I walked through the door. The older woman who sits closer to the door looked up, made eye contact and went back to her service - without a greeting or smile. In the end, I waited and paid when they were done - at which time my daughter was quite upset by the whole situation and just wanted to get out of there. Needless to say that we will not be returning. Overall, customer service could be significantly improved by: - Greeting and welcoming your customers - Working harder to honor appointment times (we've typically had to wait between 15 to 30 minutes) - Communicating clearly with the customer e.g., if a delay is expected by the time you get there, if you have to step away during the service (but 7 minutes is never acceptable), if you have to switch technicians etc."
