"I’ve heard about this restaurant a lot lately so decided to join a friend and try it . We went like 2pm to hope for a less crowded setting . Well it was still busy so if you like it more open 2:30 might work. The food was very decent and they gave a nice amount of food to eat. My friend had a burger and I said the grilled veggie sandwich.. it was okay but again I’m Italian and comparing it to NYC roasted veggie sandwich.. it needed seasoning n maybe Balsamic on it .. hence just okay . I commend them for offering it though. The place is very popular the staff friendly the food came out quickly so a very decent choice to try . I’d suggest try it for yourself ! Go"

"We made a reservation for just under 10 people for a late lunch after a special occasion. It was our first time there! I had heard a lot of good things about Riley & Jake's from locals so I thought it would be a good place to try. When you're trying to find a restaurant that caters to vegans AND meat-eaters, it gets a little tricky. Especially near the Clinton area it was hard to find a menu that looked good for everyone, but once I saw this menu I knew it would be perfect. And it was! Food was great, atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable- definitely a tavern vibe. What stood out most was the SERVICE!!! I believe I was told there is only one server on for the lunch shift on the weekdays, and we would have never known that!! I am frustrated that I can't remember the name of our server, but if anyone from management reads this, the lovely young woman who served us at lunch yesterday (Thursday 1/11 around 3pm) is a GEM!! I've worked in the restaurant industry and know plenty of servers...not many that are efficient AND so so kind like she is! Her energy made an already great experience FANTASTIC. Thank you to her!! I'll be back!"

"What a great experience, particularly with young children. This was a first time Christmas Tree shopping with my young granddaughters, and they were beyond excited. We wanted to find a restaurant that was kid friendly, and my daughter in law, who is a teacher, remembered that a colleague had suggested Riley and Jake's. What a perfect choice! There is a full and varied menu for both children and adults, with offerings for just about every taste and appetite. My grands got Mac and Cheese, Chicken Nuggets, and Mozzarella Sticks; my wife and daughter in law has burgers, I had a Steak Tip Quesadilla. In addition, we had the pretzel appetizer. Everyone was pleased with their choices. Prices are quite reasonable. Service was wonderful: our waitress was very pleasant, and was attentive to the younger set. At one point she was assisted by a gentleman who was great with the kids. We were seated in a room off the main room, which we had for most of the meal. This was greatly appreciated, as our young companions occasionally let their enthusiasm overrun their good manners. Riley and Jake's is conveniently located, has excellent parking, and is immaculately clean. Yes, parents, there are clean bathrooms, surely a consideration. Riley and Jake's is a very pleasant dining spot, all the more so with children. A must try if you're anywhere nearby!"

"Grateful we had a reservation as others walking in at the same time had to wait. Dessert was amazing! The pot stickers were great. I enjoyed the apple cider chicken. The sauce was great on the sweet potatoes. My boyfriend enjoyed the French onion soup too. Our server, Kate, was awesome. She was not only a quality server but a lot of fun and gave great recommendations to help us make our selections since it was our first visit. The staff definitely made our experience great."

"We had a very nice family dinner here for the first time. Our server Anna was excellent! The food came quickly and very good. The French onion soup was "ok" but everything else was very good! Ribeye was cooked perfectly as well as the scallops. We will be back if we're in the area again."
