"Disappointing and disappointed. It's been over a year since I visited where this was such a gem and often long lines during the lunch rush in downtown Camden. Certainly prices are a little more (too be expected nowadays) but quality has slipped. Pork was overly dry and overcooked which I suspect had more to do with repurposing (leftover) versus freshly made same day. On a more positive note, place has been renovated since my last visit most likely due to pandemic and the black beans are still pretty good."

"I had the pleasure of visiting the Latin American Restaurant in Camden, New Jersey. The atmosphere was great; the staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. The Yellow Rice and Beans with Pernil (Roast Pork) was my favorite dish. The flavors were bold and the dish was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Latin American meal."
