"The food was the worst! How do you screw up pancakes and potatoes? REALLY!!! The young lady who waited on my table needs socialization training. The score of 1 is too much for the food and service. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! Great location and a nice setting, though bad the food and service SUCK!!! Spend a little more time and money and drive to First Watch Diner. You won't regret it."

"Reasonable prices, good food, great service. You get your own carafe of coffee. We ordered the Sampler for breakfast... two eggs, two toast, two pieces of meat, two pancakes or French toast, hash browns and toast... you will be bringing home a to go box for breakfast tomorrow."

"We had such a wonderful time at The Village Diner! It is such a friendly, quaint place with a friendly and engaging staff. The food was delicious and the service was great! Our server, Mo, was attentive and sweet! Because someone heard we were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary and our friends were celebrating their 50th, our bill was taken care of. That kind gesture brought me to tears!! I'm so glad we went there this morning. We will definitely visit again!"

"My mom and I enjoyed our visit for brunch here. We came on a weekend morning, and we were told there was a half-hour wait. We were seated in 20 minutes. Our server was super friendly, and our food came out quickly. The coffee was decent, and so were the prices. The blueberry pancakes and homefries were delicious. The bacon wasn't as crispy as I liked, so my mom ate mine. The atmosphere is nice. It's not exactly super retro, but it has a nice homey and cozy feel to it. It is very crowded, especially near the door, but we were seated in the back room so that wasn't a problem. They also offer outdoor seating, but not when we visited, probably due to the lack of servers."
