"I am so disappointed pointed. 2 stars cause of the Mac. I came alway from west because I used to love their food. So I got bbq chicken with Mac and cabbage. The drums are from chicken wing, and they are extremely over cooked, I cannot eat them. And the portions dramatically decreased. I’m so upset :( especially cause I was so excited. Like I literally made plans to get this food today!"
"Call in advance. It’s sad to see an establishment that catered my wedding be so poor with customer experience. Literally watched five customers order after and walk out before. On another note, the food is great. Well made southern home cooking. Prices start at $20 for a meal. Ample parking around the establishment. They hire young adults which is good for the community. The owner is actually a great person. Again, great place if you want to show “out of towners” a good spot from your childhood neighborhood, but call in advance."
"Food was good. Definitely like the sides better than the meat. I got the turkey wings they smelled like a pan and was a little dry. Could’ve been better if it was smoother wings. The sides are really delicious, we got Mac and cheese, greens, and sweet potato."
"The quality of the food is going down and for the dollar amount that customers are being charged it needs to be better. I ordered a salmon platter Fri evening. No one wants salty / mushy mac n cheese. Victoria string beans use to be the best. Now they taste like they were just cooked in olive oil with no season. Potato salad and cabbage did not have any seasoning either. This is my second try in a few years I think im done. Hope it gets better."
"I ordered this from DoorDash, the bbq chicken with Mac and yams but I received salmon instead. I wanted what I ordered but it was still delicious. I would def order again, the sides were very flavorful."
