"First time visiting after going to the other big water parks in Sandusky, and I'm very impressed. Love the look and feel overall, the water park is fun and very clean, life guards are the best that I've seen by far. Every interaction with the staff has been very pleasant and professional. Will be back for sure."

"Over all it was a very nice experience. Definitely oriented towards smaller children like 8 and younger, my youngest are 10, and they had a good time, but I think it would have been even better if they were younger. Guest services were great, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The water park was very clean. Great experience!"

"We had an amazing time at Castaway Bay for Christmas 2023. We checked in late Friday and experienced GREAT customer service that set the bar high for our service for the trip. Each person we met was just as friendly as the last. Very accommodating to us for any of our small asks. Milan Rd had a bunch of chain restaurants to choose from if you just wanted to get out. We were with our 5 year old and 7 year old and the 4 of us enjoyed the water park and the slides. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean upon arrival. Everything was as expected. Kudos to the staff and the lifeguards that worked 12/23/23-12/26/23 This Christmas was definitely once to remember for our family! Edit**we understood that there may not have been restaurants accessible on Christmas Day, so I cooked Alfredo and Salmon and we simply popped it in the microwave and enjoyed Christmas dinner. Again, Milan Rd has several options to choose from."

"Overall the entire place is filled with fun. The arcades is cool, the mini golf and mini bowling are a lot of fun, the escape room can entertain for about 30-40minutes. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The entire hotel is super cute and decorated in tropical themes. There are hostel characters around greetings and playing with the guests and kids. What sure made us to become big fan and returning customer was the amazing friendly and fun staff and team in charge of the kids activities! It was simple amazing and we felt really warm and part of the family!!!"

"I'm not sure why all the bad reviews but our experience was great! The room was clean with no bugs. As far as the noise level that's pretty much at any hotel our room was on the 3rd floor so it wasn't so noisy compared to being on the 1st floor or directly by the elevators. It's perfect for kids, it's not to big which makes it easy to be able to keep an eye on them. The arcade is nice, they also have mini bowl, golf and escape room. They have activities they host throughout the day for kids. Although it is currently cold in Ohio the location is around the corner from CedarPoint. The breakfast buffet was also good! It's a very kid friendly hotel!"
