"This was my second visit. I was willing to give it a second try because the bread and olive oil was delicious! Of course they outsource that! The first time I went there I ordered the fish. The vegetables on the plate were a bit overcooked but I still enjoyed the meal overall. The second time I went it was a completely different experience. The young waitress was very sweet. I ordered linguine and white clam sauce and what I got on my plate was 2 little neck clams and the rest was coarse chopped cherry stone’s. They were the consistency of rubber. They were inedible. Normally I take pics and let people decide for themselves but the dish was so shamefully bad (and was approximately $25) that I did not want to show it. The head waiter- the older man- came to our table and asked if we enjoyed the food. When I quietly told him about the rubbery clams he got very loud and obnoxious and insisted I did not know what I was talking about. He was extremely rude and there was no call for that kind of attitude. He may be able to get away with it in NYC but this town is filled with decent people who should be treated respectfully. If you are craving linguine and clam sauce I recommend any of the local pizzerias as it is half the price and twice the quality."

"Fourth time we’ve been to Volare in Tannersville. Amazing food. Fresh, made to order. I was asked which of the dishes I’ve ordered I liked the best. I honestly couldn’t choose one. They were all 5 star meals!!! Yes, it is higher priced than many places in the area. But the freshness of the food, the delicious recipes, the professional wait staff and the friendly owner make this worth every penny! I can’t wait to go again!"

"Came here for Mothers Day with my wife and 2 adult children and we were all BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!! The Food, Atmosphere, and Waitstaff were all 5*. My family are all Foodies and we travel a lot and I have to say the food here is TOP NOTCH!!!!!! Donna, the woman that took our reservation in advance, made my wife a sugar free cake since she is a Diabetic. This was the BEST Sugar Free Chocolate cake my wife and I have ever had. I had to question the waiter to make sure this cake was Sugar Free. This is fine dinning, people so the quality and quantity of food was well worth the cost."
