"This is the worst barber shop i have gone to. They had 2 people i dont think are trained who cut my hair and my son's hair. They cut randomly and it was uneven all over. They did not do a simple basic job. I will never recommend them. They were expensive for a basic haircut for a child."

"I am picky with my hair cut since my hairs are thinning :-(. I moved in this neighborhood not long ago and did not have very good experience with different barber shops. It's fair to say that I found this place is reasonable, may be since I got my hair cut from Andy, who mostly understand what I am looking for in my haircut. He's friendly and take time to make sure the job is done right and communicate well if it's about future technology, environment and UFO. This place is neat and clean and I noticed that after every hair cut they first clean the remnant of previous customer. Attaching couple of pictures with my review. I am not sure if you can schedule an appointment but I would suggest call first before heading out, usually wait time is not long since even weekday they have three barbers on duty."

"The lady (2nd chair on right) who cut my hair was super nice, but she doesn’t have good skills…nor does she have good quality clippers. They felt like what I could buy myself at Walmart. You can just feel the difference when you run your fingers through your hair. It doesn’t feel like clean cuts. Also, the equipment she used to clean up the sides, back, and behind the ears left me with some slight irritations. Strangely, she just used clippers to trim my hair up top; no scissors. It’s so hard to find a good barber. One thing she did well was that she fulfilled my request of doing a medium fade…others for some dag on reason always go too high up…I’m not in the military! Lastly, the price was a tad high for her skills…they charge $22 with credit card and $20 with cash. This should’ve been an $8 cut. I’ve been trying to find a good reliable barber in the South Riding area and there just aren’t any…will not be going back."

"I had my hair cut at BJ Barber on November 10, 2023. Hair stylist had short hair and wore glasses, and cut my hair on the second chair on the right side. WORST hair cut I have ever had. Will not be using this place again. It is so true - you get what you pay."

"I just moved to here coming from NJ in central jersey shore. After I was done unpacking at my new house I had to get a haircut and found this place and I’m so glad I did. I managed to make it 20 minutes before closing however the staff was very friendly and took me in with no problem. They did an amazing job and gave me the haircut I wanted with exceptional service. I definitely will be back plus they’re only 5 minutes away from me."
