"Tri State RV park is a great little year round RV park. Although it is right next to the highway. The sound of tractor trailer trucks is present most all the time. However the park is clean and flat. The staff is super nice and helpful. The laundry and showers are very nice and well kept. There is a nice large field area to let dogs run a bit and do there business. It’s great place to stop for a few day on your way south on 81. The prices are very affordable. But be aware electric is metered . Over all a nice small family run campground."

"We stayed there for almost a year. Very nice owners and monthly rates were reasonable. The problem is the highway noise. It's insane. You are camping 50 feet from semis using engine brake at a bottom of the huge hill next to an exit. We had to use ear plugs to sleep and headphones to watch TV. Never saw any reactional visitors. Mainly contraction workers. It was fun trying to keep thing from freezing in winter."

"Parked here for a year and a few days. Owners were awesome. Close to everything you might need. The road noise is there, but not overwhelming. Received many packages and they were always accommodating. I would definitely stay there again. Feed the deer!!"

"This campground is in the perfect place for campers traveling North on I-84. There are few campgrounds in New York and almost none in Connecticut. It is easy to get in and has full hookups and cable plus the price is very reasonable. I find these other campground reviewers totally miss the point of the need for travelers to stop for the night."

"We were driving with our camper from Virginia to New England and found this campground as a stop over to break up the drive. The campground is right next to the highway. This is great if you’re looking for easy access and quick stop over. Not so great for noise. We chose to put on our fan for the night to drown out the highway noise and enjoyed the break from driving. There is a pizza place that delivers right to our camper door so didn’t even need to unhook from our truck to get dinner. Clean bathrooms, a laundry facility and small store with basic necessities. There is also access to the Delaware River with a nice lawn to wander and let pets get a small walk. In all, if you’re looking for a beautiful serene setting for a camp out, this is NOT the place for you. If you’re looking for a quick stop over to recharge on a long trip with easy access to the highway, this is a GREAT find."
