"very muddy after an inch of rain from the day before, very unclear blazes in certain sections of the trail. walking the loop starting from west parking lot made us cross an algae-covered bridge that was covered by 2 to 3 inch deep running water and had no other way across other than wading through the water (one person slipped) or attempting to balance on the rocks to the side (dangerous). other than that, very pretty, but i would not go again without waterproof shoes that rose to midcalf"

"Great little trail. Its not a super fancy trail or extremely challenging one either. But it is fun, there is plenty of cover and wildlife to enjoy. Great views of the lake and there's normally not that many people on it."
