"Bought supplies from him and he seemed a little old fashioned but no problem. A few weeks later I brought back the supplies unused, unopened, and with the receipt. His reaction was angry and the response was “you shouldn’t have bought it if you didn’t need it” and then he proceeded to tell me it was my fault he now had overstock. I apologized for not using it and then was told I was being charged a fee for “restocking”. Just overall a really bad interaction with this store and man. He needs to hire someone to clean the place before someone gets hurt in it."

"Old fashioned hardware store, don't even think you'll shop and be able to find what you want, you'll be met at the door and helped out immediately and you'll need it lol this place has everything you need, just not in any order that you are accostumed to in these modern days. They have their system so trust that he knows where things are and can take you right to it. Don't be afraid, customer service is old fashioned but it is painless. Just tell him what you need and he'll get it for you, ring you out and away you go, no pain, no problems. It's actually wonderful once you get used to it and it's nice to experience again from my youth lol only 4 stars because I need earlier hours but hey, I get off work at 7 am lol not everyone opens that early, not really their fault but I am so glad they are open on Monday !!! And I would like to wonder around and just look and I don't think that would go over so well lol but I get it, they are probably shoplifted from if they aren't careful! The world has moved on and they are trying to stay in business since 1954-ish. They must be doing something right!!!"

"Check this place out before you make the effort to drive out of town in search of your hardware needs (and beyond). There is a huge selection of goods. We were able to pick up the basic and slightly obscure housekeeping/ maitenance items on our checklist. The prices were very reasonable."
