"Country fried steak is one of my favorite dishes to gauge how good a home-cooking restaurant truly is. It just so happens to be the Monday dinner special here at Kay's, and we wandered in on a Monday, so voila! Cooked to the ultimate state of perfection - mashed potatoes were creamy, gravy was plentiful on the meat and mashed without overdoing it, the meat was sumptuous inside and crunchy on the outside. Is it Monday again yet?"
