"Nice setting, relaxing stream, good family getaway for zero dollars kids love playing in the water... Update... Posted 9/21/23 Since the college has stopped caring for the place it is dilapidated and over run with vagrants and homeless very uncomfortable setting don't feel safe there anymore"

"Beautiful 100 acres around Moon Brook. Plenty of wildflowers for the many bumble bees, honey bees, and other native bees. There are no trail makers so it is easy to cross where you have already gone. There is a huge garbage problem that I hope JCC students and others that care about this space will address."

"My dog n I have spent many hours here wandering the trails. It's quiet n beautiful. Rough outdoor hiking trails. But parking in winter is treacherous as they almost never plow the parking area off the street. The big parking lot north of the creek is usually locked. The restroom is always locked unless someone has rented the pavilion, so come prepared for roughing it. Since COVID-19, the trash barrels are often overflowing. But there is an abundance of wildlife and birds, as the Roger Tory Peterson bird sanctuary is semi across the street."

"I have been to 100 acre lot many times. It is a part of my childhood and growing up. Many memories of the 70s and on up. It's like going back in time when I visit there. Good walking trail and lots of shade right in the heart of Jamestown. Not alot of picnic tables but if you want a quick get away to nature this is it. I'm glad people still come here and respect our history because this park is definitely that. Quiet and peaceful. A joy to walk through, just bring a bit of repellent and your good to go!"

"This place has changed so much!!! I've gone here since I was a very young child, and remembering what it was to what it is now is pretty incredible! My parents also went here as kids, so that's pretty neat! If you walk the trails and find yourself at the swimming hole in the back, there's a little trail just before the drain pipe you can take, and I am absolutely stunned at the difference the beavers have made in there!! It's pretty neat to see. Great for the kiddos that like to play in creeks and streams, there's a picnic area, a great field for sports (kickball, soccer, baseball, ect...)"
