Located at 401 Oklahoma Avenue Northeast in Washington, D.C., the Disc Golf Course is the District's first and only free course for players of all skill levels. Operated by the nonprofit CRYSP DC in collaboration with Events DC, the course offers a six-hole pop-up experience where players can enjoy a round of disc golf from 8 am to dusk, seven days a week.
Novices, beginners, and pros alike are welcome to borrow discs, scorecards, and pencils from The Fields office in Lot 7. The course follows the same principles as traditional golf, with players aiming to reach the basket in as few throws as possible using a modified frisbee. Players can track their scores using the UDisc app or by downloading and printing a scorecard from the website.
As advocates for sports and recreation spaces in the District, CRYSP DC aims to make play accessible to more people. The organization is dedicated to exploring new projects and welcomes ideas from the community. With a focus on safety and respect for others on the course, players are reminded to always yield to pedestrians on walkways and be mindful of their surroundings while playing.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or trying disc golf for the first time, the Disc Golf Course offers a fun and challenging experience for everyone to enjoy. Visit us today and discover the thrill of disc golf in the heart of Washington, D.C.

"It’s fine for a place to go in town to practice. That’s about it. I’m not very good and finished the 6 holes in 20 minutes. No real obstacles, just grass and disc cages."
"Simple small course in DC proper, not sure if it's temporary or permanent. When we visited, there were 6 holes that all start around the perimeter of the field, with the first hole on the Metro side. Definitely be mindful of walkers, cyclists, dogs and cars."
"Not really a course. There are 3 nets in the corners of a big field. Pretty dangerous throwing frisbees when there’s a lot of people on the nearby trail and walking to the parking lot. Hard to really let it rip out there."
"I love this free-to-play temporary course and I hope it stays permanently. Free discs available at the RFK Fields office (the office holds your ID while you use them). Staff and other players have been super friendly. Lots of parking and snacks avail for sale at the Fields office, too."
"All par 3 holes. Excellent quality baskets. A few interesting holes with trees to navigate around. Longest hole over 400 feet. Convenient for DC residents."
