Three months later I attempted to cancel due to the length of time I had been waiting and was told I’d have to pay for the door anyway. That is no way to treat a good customer who bought a lot of things from them over the years. I would not recommend them at all. Go to a full service door company."

"My experience is one that everyone should read! While trying to purchase a new refrigerator, I was first told that I could not order and purchase over the phone because the employees are not to take credit card numbers. I was instructed to order it online. We made our selection, with an ice maker and we were informed that delivery would be made 10/28 DONE. When the refrigerator arrived 3 workman, who spoke very little English tried to inform me that the refrigerator could not be installed due to valve for the water was not located behind the refrigerator, rather it was in the basement - and apparently they did not want to deal with it. I told them, of course nobody told us that this was a necessity, since I could not speak to a breathing person to make our purchase to begin with. I told the men, "So you are telling me that we just purchased a refrigerator we can't use?" They turned around to leave, then my husband suggested that they should leave the refrigerator and that we would call a plumber to take care of the ice maker. So I walked outside to speak with them calling out, "Excuse me, excuse me" (5 or 6 times) to no response. I finally yelled out to them 6 feet away, "Why are you ignoring me?" Within seconds they jumped in their truck not looking back. My husband then called the store and explained the situation. The manager said that he should call the company Home Depot sub-contracted with to arrange for them to turn back around and make the delivery, if not the installation. My husband, recently released from the hospital and still in bed, refused stating that since we paid for delivery that he should take on that responsibility. In the end, we cancelled out order and we will NEVER deal with HOME DEPOT again! If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Buyer Beware! Heather Foudos"
