"Lovely easy trails nearby and the water is nice.... lot of geese poo. So in the picnic area, it's clean and tidy but the surrounding open grassy area is hard to play in because the geese."
"We love to walk to trail from Pioneer Pavilion to Slippery Rock playground. The trail is only 4/10 of a mile, so the kids can walk the trail and play. Pictures below are from the trail."
"Such a peaceful area and you can rent the Pavilion. I enjoy fishing by the small waterfalls or under the bridge in the shade on a hot day."
"This is a beautiful place for any kind of special occasion party, nestled in the woods. Pavilion has detached restrooms and approx 18 large picnic style tables to accommodate approx 75 people, a grill, kitchen with running water and oven but no fridge. There is also a small playground and a ball field."
