"This has an incredible outdoor deck with great views right on the water. You can catch a great sunset here. The menu has the basics but also some unique eats. We had the Haddock bites, Ahi tuna, and Fried oysters. The oysters were freshly breaded and had the perfect taste and consistency. All the items we ordered were exceptional. Service was good. Prices are reasonable and we felt the quantity of food was perfect. They had Flying dog on draft which is one of my favorites and rare to find around here. Highly recommend."
"Came here and we had the crab cakes, rockfish gyro, and mermaid water cocktails. The crab cakes were $38 and come with 2 sides. They were worth the price in my opinion because they were larger than what I get almost anywhere else and had no filling in them! Tasted delicious! The rockfish gyro was tasty too and affordable. The mermaid water cocktails are served in a large glass and made well too. The atmosphere is some of the best for a place in Calvert County if you eat outside. Our waitress was slightly inattentive, but overall the experience was fantastic!"
"I have been here a few times over the last year and a half. It's very hit and miss. Sometimes you get real good service and average at best food and other times the food is great but the service sucks. This last time we went with a few friends and we had to wait for almost 25 minutes before a waitress came to our table. The place was only about half full, and they had plenty of staff just not well managed and seemed like no one knew who had what tables. Once we asked twice for a waitress, one final came and took our order. She was very good and we had no issues with her. The food this time was really good and came out extremely quick, which was surprising as the last few times I was there, the place was half as full and took twice as long. The drinks have always been good, so there is no issue if you're there for a few drinks. It's in a very interesting location a bit of the main roads. The views of the water and atmosphere outside here are very nice. If you can't sit outside, choose another place. If this place was properly run, it could really be a great place, but right now, I would say it's only just above average and really depends on the day."
