"Very disappointed! Started off well very good customer service. Then they made a mistake and mistyped my banking information for auto pay. So first month I got a notice it was rejected by my bank. The email said to FAX MY BANK ACOUNT NUMER TO A FAX NUMBER. First of all who uses fax. Second and most importantly who would be dumb enough to fax their account number to some fax. Along with routing number. I have to believe that NJ banking and insurance Commission would find that to be very unsafe. So I called their representative and made the payment over the phone. It went through my bank and it is captured in my statement. Apparently days later they said I need to make two payments because I never made the payment. I sent a screen shot to their accounts receivable team via email. Marked urgent as instructed by the customer service rep. Waited 3 days no reply. Not even saying they are looking into it. I sent from BOA the transaction number and a snapshot of the banking history showing their withdrawal. Taking this as warning that this company is less than professional I went with another insurance company that does not have issue with billing and accounting. Heard other horror stories. My advice stay clear of them."

"They try to sell me their insurance. Too expensive so I went back to Geico. I just want to let you advertising management know that advertising other insurance on your commercials doesn't help to promote your insurance. I watch your snowman commercial thanks for advertising Polar insurance I will check it out for price rates."

"I have insured my car, home and rental properties through NJM for over 17 years. Over the years the premiums have increased but I stayed loyal trusting them with my insurance needs. Recently when I filed my first claim for my primary residence due to a leak they only paid me for labor and no materials asking me to reuse items more than 10 years old. I went through their appeals process and same result. I thought they were a private company not chasing profits but I guess they are too busy filling their own pockets instead. I will be shopping next renewal cycle for sure. Buyer beware!"

"NJM offered an excellent entry price and then 18 days later, after I switched all my insurance over to them, they said I had to change my driver's license to New Jersey. So even though my cars are in New Jersey, I can't have homes or license in another state. I don't like tricks and suspect that they are dishonest or ar least incompetent. I won't do business with trickster companies. So I went back to Progressive after just 18 days and ended up paying more than before I canceled. Thanks, NJM, for the hassle and the extra cost I had to pay to go back to my old company. I hope this saves others from making the same mistake."
