"Matiya’s work truly is “magic”. I’ve had long, waist length hair for about a decade and believed that I couldn’t have defined curls or volume because of the weight, and I accepted that because I wanted the length. But Matiya gave me all 3 - without seeming to cut much of anything off. I walked in with almost straight hair thinking the best I could hope for was waves, but I have defined spiral curls. I was floored when I saw the finished result. It’s stunning. I didn’t know my hair could look like this. I looked 10 years younger when I left. This was my first time with Matiya. I wanted to clean up a bit before a girls trip this weekend. I found her on Ouidad’s website and messaged her. She fit me in right away. I was nervous about being with someone new but that disappeared when I first saw her and her huge smile. I don’t know what it is, but she didn’t seem like a stranger. She’s warm, easy to talk with, and really cares about what her clients want. I’m so grateful for the magic she performed. She made me feel pretty again. I can’t wait to go back to see her again!!"
