"Secluded but not from mosquitoes. It's late June and every single swing of my arms collided with mosquitoes. When we got to the water there was enough wind to keep them at bay at least. Saw some sand critters along the edge of the water so that was cool."

"This is a short trail that leads to the marsh or channel of Toms Cove. If you know what to look for here, this place is very interesting. There are many birds here by the trail and by the marshes. Many different types of birds. This is a good place to bird watch and photograp birds, less people and lots of birds. Though saw a few fisherman that attended to their boats."

"Well, 3 ponies ran right toward us on the trail and congregated with 4 other ponies right in front of my wife and I. We hunkered down behind a tree and watched with amazement the way the head stallion got his fillies in line."

"The Chincoteague area is nice. The Bivalve trail only gets you to the beach area. I ram up and down a little to see if it connects, as you expect a trail to do, but it is a one way 2 minute walk - that's all. Worth a picture, but that is about it."
