"They've been good with Auto but absolutely atrocious with homeowners, stay clear of NJM. We had a hail storm a few months ago which did significant damage and NJM is denying claims to everyone in our neighborhood meanwhile all other people I spoke with who have a different insurance company have had their claims approved. My shingles and metal on roof have dings all over, I had several inch long pieces of shingles break off and was in my front yard and I even had a 1 foot piece of my window framing break off and that too wasn't covered. Don't get NJM for homeowners insurance."

"Worst experience ever. Not only did it take about 5 months to schedule an appointment to get my car repair, but they also failed to provide a rental car on the drop off date for my car to get repair, even after I provided a month in advance the date for my car to get repairs like they said I should, so that they could provide a rental car. The person handling my claim failed to communicate and every time I would call, she was never available. I even called the office and was told that she was in the office but for someone reason was not answering. Then they decided to transfer me to her supervisor only to find out that she was not available either. At this point I was just frustrated with the whole process with this insurance company. NEVER AGAIN."

While waiting outside, I couldn't help but immerse myself in the sheer beauty of the natural surroundings. The building was nestled amidst sprawling acres of stunning landscapes, a sight that filled my heart with immense appreciation and love. I marveled at the meticulous care bestowed upon the grounds, a testament to the invaluable efforts of the dedicated groundskeepers. Not a single thing was out of place, and the absence of litter was a testament to the pristine condition of the area. The vibrant flowers adorned the scenery, adding an extra touch of splendor. Moreover, the fact that it was a smoke-free environment further enhanced the tranquil atmosphere. For those blissful 30 minutes while awaiting her arrival, I found myself transported to a paradise unlike any other. Namaste"

"NJM used to be great. Customer for 30 years. Always handled claims well and minimal rate increases. Past few years they have totally changed. They have changed all their policies and did not notify policy holders. Specifically, they now rate all drivers on all the cars. I had an accident that was not my fault and not 1 penny paid by NJM and my rates went up 500. Another accident on the policy where no repairs made on my vehicle and minor damage on the other party and 1000 increased. They used to be the best, and limited who can get their insurance, but now that they opened it to everyone, their rates are higher than most - and changed their policies. Spread the word. They are horrible now."

"I switched to NJM a few years ago when Progressive was robbing me of my money. NJM charged me over 150.00 cheaper per month. When I lost my car in Hurricane Ida, they were good about keeping in touch with me and sending my check out timely so I was able to buy my car. They take my payment out monthly and send a letter to remind me every month. It's quick, it's easy and it's a pleasure doing business with NJM. I've always gotten nice people on the phone too when I call. They have great customer service. If you need an affordable insurance company who is our for your best interest, call NJM."
