"This was my pharmacy of choice for quite a period, but the service and tone of the customer service representatives has sharply deteriorated. Two recent experiences illustrate this. In both cases prescriptions were called in by medical facilities several hours before I arrived for pickup. In each case when I got to the store for pickup, they said if I waited for 15 minutes they would fill the prescriptions. It reminded me of last minute cramming for an exam. After the first incident I tried calling ahead several times. The phone just rang and rang with no answer. A VM eventually came on saying no one was available. Then I tried using the option on the menu to check on the status of my order. Problem there is you have to supply the prescription number. Since it was a first order phone in I didn't have the number. No choice but to go to the store and endure a frustrating wait. Total time was 25 minutes. When I informed the service person behind the counter, she went into super defensive mode about new updates and ongoing training blah blah blah. Her tone was one of impatience and sarcastic irritation. The whole experience was absolutely unacceptable. Overall Grade F. I will take my future business to Walgreens."
