"Disappointing change in flavor! I used to adore Caribe Express at their Laurel location, but the shift to their new Jessup spot seems to have altered the taste and quality of their food. Sadly, the flavors I once loved are no longer consistent. However, amidst this change, I must commend their beef patties; they've remained consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. It's disheartening that the overall food experience isn't as enjoyable anymore. I loved their oxtails but it’s just not as flavorful anymore and this place is quite expensive."
"I love this place! Their food is great, but here lately the Brown Stew Chicken is WAY over cooked to the point of dryness. It wasn’t like that before. Please go back to the old method because this is inedible. I thought it was a one off, but it’s been twice now."
"Extremely disappointed in the food. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken dish and paid extra for callaloo. The chicken was dry, I received maybe a 1/2 spoon full of callaloo and bowl full of rice. There was absolutely no gravy on the meal. And since I purchased a large this meal came to over $25. It was definitely NOT worth it."
"The sign read “now open” so I went in to explore. The place looks like it’s still a little under construction but the kitchen was open and everything on the menu was ready except for curry chicken. I ordered two beef patties and they were delicious. I don’t think they are home made on site inasmuch as they have the identical taste and texture of patties I have had in many places - BUT they have salt fish patties, so an extra star for that option. The lady behind the counter was super helpful and pleasant and I’ll be glad to come again and try more things here. Come and get your Caribbean cuisine- everything is new at this new restaurant."
