"As other reviewers have written, Tala is amazing. It was fine with everyone when I came in, at the end of the pandemic, having washed my own hair. Many of us did that. I also went home (5 minutes away) to blow it dry. But I always paid the salon the full price. Tala is still wonderful, but something has changed. Every time I go in, now, and follow the same routine, the price goes up. They only want cash or check, which sometimes makes it problematic if you’re out of checks. As I was today and had to make a quick trip to the bank. My husband said the salon is charging New York prices, and I have to agree. The very lovely receptionist is no longer there. She was genuinely friendly and polite."
