"2023 bar-hightop visit, waitress was on point and the Salmon Tacos (pic) were really good. Duck fat fries could have used a bit more truffle & rosemary. Seemed spotty. 2022 bar visit, I asked if the soup of the day had any pieces of meat , as I wanted hearty soup not simply a broth. Bartender said it had ground sausage but when I got it it was nothing but a creamy orange broth broth (pic). Sent it back. Next I got the inside out chicken pot pie (pic). Didn't care for it at all. For some reason they made the creamy stew broth sweet, Pot pie is not supposed to be sweet! The two pieces of chicken were incredibly small and were not cooked with the stew they were sitting in. Sure, it looks good to have a crispy brown piece but it wasn't a pot pie. It was just pieces of stuff thrown together neatly in a bowl like plate. I'd be surprised if this stays on the menu long. I thought it had almost nothing to offer. Chicken pieces were so small that it was hard to get any meaningful meat off of them, had to scrape around little bones. Years ago I've had their duck fat fries and they've been amazing, and the lobster, mac and cheese great. Those are still on the menu so there's some hope, but it really felt like this was not the same restaurant from 10 years ago."

"I used to come here very regularly. I went back recently with a friend for the brunch menu. I felt like the menu and the quality of items has gone down a bit. Although this is still a great restaurant with good food, and options. Visiting this place is definitely worth your time!"

"Our service was absolutely wonderful!! The Angus burgers out of this world. It was a little pricey but totally worth the potion size. The place was neat and tidy!! If I get back this way I'll def stop again!! Great experience"

"We were ready to give Victoria Gastro Pub 5 stars after our first visit, but our second and last visit wasn't the greatest so I docked one star. The first time we visited Victoria, we had an excellent dinner visit! Our server was super friendly and provided great service. He answered questions we had and gave his recommendations as well! We tried the Mexican Street Corn Flatbread, Fish & Chips, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Duck Fat Fries and a chocolate dessert I can't remember the name of. Everything was delicious! We liked our first visit so much, we decided to go again! The second time we visited, it was for Sunday brunch. We visited and asked to be seated outside. We tried the Breakfast Egg Rolls, but we wished they had a sauce for dipping because they were a bit dry. I got the Lobster Grilled Cheese again, but it was really soggy compared to the first time I got it. Then, our second visit started going further downhill. Our server was friendly, however, after we got our entrees, she pretty much disappeared. While we were eating, it started downpouring, and the wind was bringing the rain into the outdoor seating area. We were getting rained on and the table was getting wet. We waited to see if our server would come out and ask if we wanted to be seated inside and offer us assistance, but she was nowhere to be found. It wasn't until we got up and stood by the door that leads into the restaurant that another server saw us, opened the door and offered assistance. We asked him for the check because we just wanted to get home after being left out in the rain. We saw our server walk by the door and notice us talking to him, and THEN she came and offered to help us get our check. The situation was so odd, and we were put off by it that we haven't been back since. Hoping it was an off day, and we might give them another try in the future."

"A great spot to hang out and enjoy delectable appetizers and refreshing, unique cocktails; especially during their extended happy hour. Came here on a Friday evening and thankfully were able to find a table in the bar area. We got their bang bang cauliflower, fried chicken sticks, and fried cheese balls. We also ordered a couple of cocktails each. Everything was good, but the food was a bit bland. Needs a bit of salt and spice but otherwise a decent happy hour selection. Though the fried cheese balls are not on their happy hour menu, it is a must try item. Hadn't been here in a while and was pleasantly surprised to land a happy hour. Highly recommended!"
