"If I could give this place negative stars, I would my daughter had lost her money in the salon and they claimed that that’s not their problem and still had to pay an additional amount as well and then they try to overcharge her saying her hair was almost $85 when in fact it should’ve been way because her hair isn’t even to her shoulders they just money hungry people never taking her again very unprofessional what’s the point of cameras if you not going to use it"

"The owner was prompt with doing both me and my mothers hair at the same time but she definitely took advantage price wise.. why is a doobie and a trim $85?!! (african american with easy soft shoulder length hair) I’ve been all over and never paid that much… definitely made the price up and I see a lot of reviews below saying the same thing. Also when you’re doing hair before you start doing add ons the right thing to do is tell someone politely “It’ll be ___ amount extra”. My mother and I were so confused. Didn’t really get the Dominican Salon feel I’ve gotten at other places, more of a taken advantage of feeling. Definitely would’ve went somewhere else. OK work but the pricing situation is SHIESTY, definitely places that do much better for a more affordable price and better customer service skills.. wish I would’ve did a better search, wouldn’t return and HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND."

"I called ahead of time and asked when they closed, I was told 4. I drove all the way up there only to be told they’re not taking anyone else and it was 3:43. I informed them that I called and asked why didn’t n they specify that information over the phone. She then reluctantly let me in but told me he would only blow dry and not provide a wash and set which is what I came for, then had the nerve to charge me EXTRA for the blow dry because it cost more than the wash and set. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Very rude and unprofessional!"

"The owner/ stylist doesn't have a price list she's very short with people as she's making up prices as she goes so asking her ahead of time is a no-go you sit there and you wait and then she decides to give you a price after she's already washed your hair she doesn't have any kind of customer service skills. at all this place is very cold and quiet and nothing about it makes you want to stay for any kind of hair treatment don't get me wrong it's pretty but by the way she throws prices out of the top of her head you're still paying for her home improvements business improvements barbershop improvements or on you"

"I’ve been to this establishment three times now. Great experiences all times! The first 2 times i got a blow out and trim! She did an amazing job! The third time, i had a sew in and the person who did it got scissor happy and chopped my hair (weave extensions) up. I called and came in and she fixed it beautifully! I truly appreciate businesses like this! She was very professional and sweet (i need to get her name) lol. I highly recommend this business to anyone! You won’t leave dissatisfied! Especially in a beauty industry with hair stylist trying to over charge for bare minimum services, on top of being unprofessional! This place is a breath of fresh air! You can expect a beautiful style as well as great service/professionalism! In the photos, that was the choppy mess the other stylist did & when i went to this salon, how she fixed it."
