"Butter had ice on it. Carpaccio was stone cold. I get these items are easier to slice when frozen but at least make sure they are at room temp when served. Tomato sauce that goes with lobster ravioli was watery and barely warm. Meatballs too hot to eat. The microwave comes to mind. Chianti Classico very middle of the road. Was never shown the bottle, glass poured in the back. Could have been any red wine really. Grilled peppers taste sour like they come from a jar. Their “burratta” mostly resembles cheaply mozzarella. Real burratta is creamy in the middle. Theirs is rubbery. Served sliced and grilled. Totally takes away the purpose of using burratta. Server never asked if we enjoyed our food. The bread tasted nice and was warm. The atmosphere is cozy. My dining companion and I still had a good time because we enjoy each other’s company. But this restaurant fares on former success. Place was only half full on a Friday night. They need to step it up."

"If you are not a regular, may want to steer clear...even after confirming reservation for 4 adults and 2 kids, we were given a table that barely fits 4 adults...for the duration of our meal, there were other tables available that would have fit us, but they were being held for other guests...we were served cold dishes that should have been warmed and were not offered all available options that we very obviously noticed were provided to other patrons...also we ordered a dish of spaghetti and meatballs to split for our 2 kids, and ordered the exact same dish for us, yet the portions were noticeably less when provided to our kids (1/2 the meatballs)...the food was decent but did not live up to the price charged...overall was not a memorable experience and the restaurant severely disappointed."

"The food here is great, I’ve been going here for a few years now and whenever I take my friends/family here they love it!! The service is the best here, they always treat me and my friends/family like with care and respect. However, there was an incident that happened a few weeks ago with another table while I was there and they were very disrespectful to the staff, they were way over dramatic and the staff did all they could to be kind and respectful to the mean people. At the end of the day this is a great place to dine at, 10/10 recommend!!!"

"Average food with above average prices and good service. The house sauce is tasty, but the pasta isnt freshly made in house. The lobster ravioli comes in a house tomato sauce instead of the lobster cream sauce and is marked as market price though the ravioli looks like the same one costco sells, it's definitely not made in house or worth getting especially for the price. The desserts were good, the cheesecake and the pan with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top was very tasty and large. Most of the staff speak Spanish and it looks like they have returning customers, it's a family restaurant and people seem to really enjoy it."

"My friend grew-up in Potomac, so we spent a full day wandering about her old neighborhood reminiscing. That night, for dinner, we dined at Renato, which was sublime. From the wine to the calamari to the pasta to the service, it was such an air of elevated, elegant comfort. There was an easy warmth that wrapped us up and returned us to a nostalgic time, that somehow felt dreamlike."
