"We visited for brunch around 2 pm on a Saturday. We had to wait a good while for service, and it was generally slow. On the other hand, our server was friendly. The coffee was very good and the French toast was good but the lemon ricotta pancakes were strangely dry. We will visit again, but with a hope for a better experience next time."
"My work hosted a dinner party at Michael's Cafe this past week and we had the most wonderful experience. First off, I had a very smooth process of booking and planning out the space with the events coordinator, Meghan. The space that we booked (The Patio Bar) was both elegant and cozy at the same time. With a mixture of couch, bar, table, and high-top seating, our guests could mingle and relax in a comfortable environment. On to the food - we ordered the buffet which was very fairly priced per person, and the food did not disappoint. The servers were prompt and attentive, not to mention so kind. They continued to check on me throughout the night to make sure everything was going according to plan. All in all - great atmosphere, great food, great service. Thanks Michael's!"
"Simply a dining mess. Ordered appetizers, waited more than 30 minutes and they were delivered. On it's heels, the entrees appeared minutes later. Not sure who is managing the kitchen, expediting orders but clearly no one is paying attention."
"This place was very quaint. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some strong cocktails. I came specifically for the grilled octopus. The green sauce on top was to die for and so was the flavor. The octopus could have been a little more tender. The sprouts were fried to perfection. Loved the thick crab meat in the half and half soup. Though it is an older crowd, I would def return."
