"I had Renters insurance through this Corporation for the year of 2019. I am reaching out to provide a review because at the age of 24 I truly did not know what to expect out of a representative and a company who should take care of you. I now have my insurance through MGS and my agent is Stephanie Dellido and she is extremely helpful and intelligent. Not only does she go above and beyond but she truly cares. Honestly, I liked Mike. He was cool. He explained my benefits to me, sent me my paperwork to fill out and told me to send back the paperwork filled out and signed along with the payment to Jen. She responded saying. "Thanks." 6 months later there was a crazy lightening/thunderstorm that unfortunately hit my outlet. The lightening took our my Modem / Router Duo, 65 inch TV, and Xbox 1S. I informed the manager of my apartment complex and maintenance immediately came to check out the issue. They informed me that the lightening took out the one outlet and advised me to inform my renters insurance and file a claim. At our complex we are required to have renters insurance and Weaver had to sign a paper stating I have insurance through them in order for me to lease my apartment. When I reached out, Jen responded stating I am not insured by them and was... not very tasteful with her words. I explained I spoke to Mike, filed the paperwork, went through the process, and my card was charged. Eventually... she recognized I did fill out their insurance form and admitted she forgot to submit it but she didn't know if I had a $500 or $1000 deductible so they had to go with the $1000 (even though I paid for the $500 and my emails stated $500). To say the least, they were extremely unhelpful and I didn't get anything achieved. However, I am now older and wiser and found an amazing agent and wanted to write this review to hopefully help someone else avoid the same damage I went through. P.S. I was referred to this company by a close family member who had their car and home owners insurance threw them for about a year after my incident with them they dropped that family member because she was an accident and she was with them for well over 10 years. Jen's response was, "Sorry". This company has the worst customer experience I have ever experienced and well... it's not Mike. I now have a public adjuster due to this unfortunate circumstance and would never make an insurance claim without one again. Please feel free to reach out if you need her number.
