Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"Very unhappy with this company. I pay thousands a month for insurance for my personal vehicles as well as my business. When I make a claim, they were so picky looking for any way possible to get out of paying, even though I have full coverage and I was hit in a hit and run. Now that its time for my policy is to renew, they are charging me over $7,000.00 for a "surcharge", which basically means they are making me pay back any claims they have paid out. I am not sure what the point of paying for insurance is. I am getting quotes from other companies and would not recommend Progressive to anyone!"

"A progressive customer for many years, then my car got totalled, they paid what they call fair market value which in my case was about $ 2,600 below the vehicles true worth. Note: a class action suit is pending in federal court over progressives devaluation practice. j."

"First and foremost horrible correspondence with their clientele! I was hit by a client of Progressive and handling my claim has been nothing but trouble and neglect. Days upon days without replies or correspondence not just with employees but with management both via email and phone! The staff is extremely unprofessional, and you are basically left to consult and correspond between all these people on your own regardless of being not at fault for the accident. Do not expect a follow up from their customer service or reps in regard to any issue you address because it gets pushed to the side and not handled accordingly. Your fault or not they will further inconvenience you at any chance they get and still leave you with a damaged vehicle. Terrible service, zero professionalism and sense of urgency...I really hope they don't treat PAYING CLIENTS this way!!! Cooperate needs to look into this particular branch and re-evaluate their employees and who they appoint to handle these claims because they are being prolonged and not handled promptly."
