"Very disappointed in Erie insurance. My business, personal car insurance, home owners, classic car insurance is all with Erie. I have been a loyal very respectful customer for 42 years. My parents, husbands parents & my kids all had Erie. Erie had a conflict of interest with both of their clients having Erie. I was one, the excavator that did work on my property that was found 100% liable after denying responsibility, was the other. Erie never gave us a representative to help fight the excavator. Instead because it was a conflict of interest & not in their best interest denied paying the entire claim. In fact in order to pay me for damages is wanting us to sign a release so I don’t go after their excavator who was found at fault. They claim his work wasn’t guaranteed but yet they want me to sign a release agreeing not to sue him because they are worried he will come back on his liability claim they say he doesn’t have coverage on. Shame on Erie, Shame on the excavator! My kids have all left Erie all three of them. I plan on doing the same."
