"I'm giving Hamilton Insurance one star for wonderful customer service. Great friendly people. Problem is, that's the only good thing. I recently bought a vehicle and needed quick insurance coverage to pick it up. I got a great deal through Progressive at Hamilton. Unfortunately, it's a new system for them, one which punishes the customer for not paying directly from their bank account. Then, I was not told some critical information like the fact that my first installment will be due just three weeks after I opened the policy. First insurance ever where I was not allowed to pick my payment date. I told the agent that I needed to pick up the car two hours away. She said they open at 8:30 a.m. and that I could pick up my insurance card then. I said "I'll be waiting at the door when you get there" and I got there on time. The agent I dealt with wasn't even there. And her supervisor informed me that they didn't know when I was coming. I needed to meet my ride. The software wasn't working, the printer needed toner and printed out barely legible ID Cards. It's sad to say that the ONLY stressful aspect of getting my new car was the anxiety and uncertainty caused by my insurance company. I wasted my down payment on the policy. Can't get it back. Not allowed to change my due date to match my payday, even if I pay more to do it. If you have this many problems and feel like a nuisance rather than a customer in the beginning, it will only get worse. Steer clear of this place for your insurance needs unless your a fan of a difficult time."

But, I digress, this place is independent from the big 1 Brand insurance shops witch gives them versatility to find better rates with wish l equal coverage.
