"Our son had his first appointment today (2-1-2024). When we scheduled in November, we were quoted an estimated cost of $135 for the routine exam, cleaning, and flouride. After his appointment, my partner was charged $231 for the appointment. The receptionist informed her that their prices increased on January 1st. However, no one communicated these increases to her prior to services being rendered. When I called, I received multiple excuses, including the dentist doesn't know the price (I don't expect them to but I expect the receptionist/billing to know this information), we do not call our patients to inform them of price changes ( I don't expect that either - just notification at the point of care), that they did not know she was quoted a price in November (but they did know she was cash paying based on the new patient intake form), and that they simply do not discuss price until after procedures are completed (which is shady at best). I commented that other healthcare providers inform patients of estimated costs before procedures. For example, I received a call from LVHN regarding estimated out of pocket costs for an MRI before the procedure. All I expected was someone to mention that there was a price increase before we had services performed, especially since the staff knew we were cash paying. The conversation ended with the person on the phone claiming they are not in charge of policies but they would communicate my concerns to those parties. I left them my phone number and voiced my expectation of a follow-up call. I will update should that call ever be received. I am left feeling cheated and dissatisfied by this office. Without rectification, I will be taking my son to another dental practice that is more transparent."

"Avoid this place. There’s way better pediatric dentists in the area. Communication is nonexistent and the staff and dentists lack the skills to work effectively with children. This is a pediatric dentist yet they have very little consideration for the CHILDREN they provide care for. They are cold and lack personality and that’s a huge problem for a pediatric dental facility. They make excuses for their lack of service, cut corners and avoid confrontation (when discussing their mistakes) at all costs. Dr. Mike is a wonderful dentist at this practice however he’s rarely available for appointments."

"Made a last minute appointment because my son had a toothache. As usual, was able to schedule right away. My child has ASD and can switch behavior in seconds. Staff has the patience of monks. I have never had any issues. Extremely professional and courteous at all times even when things are chaotic and the office is busy."
