"This place should be shut down and charges filed against all staff, my neighbor was placed there for short time rehabilitation after heart surgery, she was stolen from lied to , and neglected..and basically blackmailed to stay there for 6months , the entire time was given 3 sleep meds on A daily basis, and when she demanded that she was going home the "doctor" prescribed her a hallucinogenic in hopes that her family would readmitt her , she suffered falls on numerous occasions resulting in a broken wrist and several stiches to her head, all I can say is we are thankfully that God gave us the ability to figure out she was under the effects of a dangerous drug or she would no longer be with us, and on top of all the suffering she and he family had to endure , she was then sued for an enormous amount of monies because they failed to turn the proper claim into the insurance company, please do not place your loved o e in this "Hell""

"I would not want to live there. Hell I don’t even like calling there! My father is now missing and the staff won’t confirm his status as living or dead and refuse to state a location. I’m holding his will! And someone removed my name from the contact list! How do they lose a whole person?"

"pleasant ridge is a very nice nursing home they really care about their people. It’s like one big large family. We never had staff been unkind to any of our relatives who are there. They treat everyone with the dignity and treat them as to why would their own family! It’s the areas best kept secret for care of your loved ones."

"I initially gave this place a positive review because it seemed that our concerns were taken seriously. I don't doubt that there are employees there who treat the residents as they should - with respect. But there are also people there who have no business caring for vulnerable people and who are mentally and physically abusive to those in their care. And you just don't know who your loved one will get. I'm also seeing that because the patients are in such vulnerable states, their negative experiences are frequently dismissed because they're not in a position to be believed when it becomes their word against a badly-needed employee who denies an incident ever took place. If this happens to residents who still have their faculties, I can only imagine what happens to patients who don't. The way some residents are treated by some of these employees in front of visiting family is a far cry from how they treat them when they think no one is watching. On more than one occasion a member of my family witnessed an employee acting out against a resident in abusive manners. If you have a choice in where you place your loved ones, I recommend looking elsewhere before settling on this place. It's a sad state of affairs when we have elderly that are treated like a throw-away population - especially when they don't have the resources to get care from people who will treat them with dignity."

"This place has been a real blessing. The staff, in all positions, has treated my uncle with great care. The team has been amazing. I'm grateful beyond words. It's not easy having a family member in a nursing home, but they have helped me as much as they have helped my uncle."
