"Quite a step back from previous NHRR experiences. They brought in Pullman cars instead of the traditional vintage cars. May have been a nice change had they been clean or cared for. Seats were heavily soiled. Headrests lacked any protection. It was rather uncomfortable to sit upright to stay away from the stains. The music and Santa were a far cry from previous years. When asked when the vintage cars would be used, the response was it's the "management decision" to switch at any time. While the young children may not have recognized the cuts and the cleanliness, as the adults paying the very high ticket cost, we sure noticed. It's doubtful we would ever return until conditions improve. A message to management after the experience, brought no response. At minimum, seating should be clean. This was really a let down, and much better options are out there for the cost."

"The Santa Polar Express Christmas Ride was a wonderful experience for the family. My 4-year-old loved it. Especially the hot chocolate and the chocolate chip cookie. Daddy and Mommy enjoyed the adult beverages - but pricey. The staff was warm and gracious, and Santa was one of the best-looking and realistic Santa's I've experienced."
