"The worst Airline in service starting at check in and boarding. Made me pay $120 for a carry-on luggage also $10 per person for checking in. I call costumer service and they redirect me to a robot. Which doenst help or answer any questions. Will never fight in this airline again. I do not recomend this nightmare to anyone. This airline should not operate anymore. It is dangerous ."

"Disgusting policies on luggage pricing. I was charged more than double the luggage price that was advertised while paying online after I purchased the ticket simply because the purchase was close to the flight date. They don't tell you this information anywhere until you have to pay for the luggage. Beware."

"I had such a terrible experience on my flight to Brazil that I refused to return back to the US with Avianca, and decided to purchase another flight with another company. I found it completely absurd that on an overnight flight the economy seats don’t recline. I have been flying international overnight flights for 23 years and never had such a horrible experience. Every time I fell asleep I woke up minutes later in pain due to poor circulation on my arms and legs. My feet were swollen unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I don’t have any health issues, but I was seriously concerned for my blood circulation. The elderly woman next to me across the aisle looked like she could barely breathe because her head was hanging forward when she slept. I have already warned all of my family and friends not to ever purchase Avianca economy tickets for overnight flights and will never book a flight with Avianca again. The only positive to any of this was that I was not flying with my children and they were spared this horrible experience."

They lack of work ethic I got to the desk to check my luggage 1 hour before the flight they had canceled my flight already. Please don’t fly with them"
