Reviews
"Dr. Rabatin and his staff are the friendliest, most efficient, 5-star team I have gone to. I travel from downtown Pittsburgh to Uniontown just to get my teeth cleaned, even though I’m sure there are plenty of places closer to me. I felt like my exams/x-rays were thoroughly explained to me (which I haven’t experienced at other offices) and although I’m typically anxious in the dentist’s chair, Dr. Rabatin and his hygienists made me feel at ease. I cannot say enough nice things about this office!"
"Been going to Mark since he started always good results"
"I have been with Dr. Rabatin since I was a child. He is fantastic. Every hygienist that I and my children have had there have been fantastic. The one star review is because I am no longer be a patient at that facility because of their front desk staff. Every appointment I have made for myself and my children over the last several years has been moved without my approval. How or why it has been moved, I don’t know. At least one of the times the hygienist we were scheduled with resigned from her position at that office. In any case, have always rolled with it when I got the reminder text and found yet again that at least one of our three appointments had been moved. I have changed my schedule and made it work without complaint. Though, I do mention every appointment that the appointment was different. But there’s no argument to be had, it was just me letting them know that something occurred in their system and the assumption is the next appointment is going to be just as we scheduled it. This past August, however, both my and my children’s appointments were moved yet again. Unfortunately, this time we were not available at the time of the rearranged appointments. I still have the physical card that shows our appointment time. After receiving the text showing the incorrect appointments I contacted them promptly and let them know that we would not be available at the time that was given in the reminder and let them know that there had been a mix up. No hard feelings were shared (though admittedly it was getting old). We were told that we would be called to reschedule. Needless to say, after a month they had still not called. When I called today to try to reschedule, the front desk person was argumentative in a way that I could not expect. Again, I have been going to this office for daily 20+ years, I predate the “new” building. When I called, she would not simply reschedule us. She wanted to discuss the changes appointments, which has nothing to do with me. I let her know that I still have the card that shows our appointment time, and that I just wanted to reschedule. She refused to move past the previous scheduling issue. What you have to understand is that she was not doing this in attempt to remedy the immediate problem, which could simply be resolved by setting new appointment times whenever those would be available, nor the previous problem which would be resolved by taking down my description of what was happening, seeing the original appointment card, and having their tech person investigate it. She instead interrogated me about the previous times our appointments had been scheduled, insisting that they had not been changed (I still have the card so clearly they did) and that the appointments I had this time was only possible on Saturdays. I found that very interesting. While that may be true now, it was clearly a possibility when our hygienist set up… and still have the card as proof. My suggestion was that the hygienist’s screen might be showing her open appointments that she is scheduling us for since we were meant to be scheduled with separate hygienists at the same time, then the system is consolidating the appointments into what is available for only that one hygienist. (This is what happens every time. We are moved to the same hygienist one appointment after the other, sometimes separated by an hour or more of others appointments). This could explain why my physical paper card shows what I remember arranging, and why her computer screen shows something different. She would not acknowledge anything I had to say. Her insistence was that I was lying. She was incredibly rude, in her very soft and gentle voice. It was clear to me that all she wanted was to ensure that *I* was the problem, and not the computer system, her system, that is likely at the root of the issue. And, she had zero intentions to reschedule us. I cannot go back to this office, and I am now left to find a new dentist after all these years."
"My family dentist finally retired after 50 years so I Needed a new dentist, someone recommended Dr Mark Rabatin so I called his office and they got me right in I got my teeth cleaned about a month later I needed a tooth filled no problem they got me right in then a few months later I got a tooth ache Dr Rabatin said it needed to be extracted so he pulled it “Absolutely no pain whatsoever “ For the next week after he pulled it “Absolutely no pain whatsoever “went back to get the stitches out “Absolutely no pain whatsoever “ what more could you want from a dentist ? Plus his whole staff are very nice people and very professional “ I think I found a new family dentist Thanks Dr Rabatin and staff"
