A1 Pool Service

"My experience with A1 pools has been nothing but a disappointment. Highly suggest looking for a different company if you’re in need of pool services. Had Shirley (the owner) come out to inspect a pool at a house I was trying to purchase. Upon the inspection it was determined the pool pump and equipment were not the correct size for the pool. Was stated to myself and my realtor that we could take pictures of the new equipment the owner of the house bought to confirm it was the correct size before closing. Upon emailing these pictures myself and my realtor tried to follow up about 5-6 times throughout a week & a half- 2 week period. Ended up having to agree on what to do with the pool with the owner without this information. (which I paid for) Still was no response from Shirley, the owner. As stated we tried to follow up many times. And when we did the receptionist was extremely rude. I paid my bill for the inspection in full a few days after. I’ve gotten multiple calls stating they need payment AFTER I already emailed the proof and spoke with someone about it. They couldn’t follow up on if the equipment was correct, but could harass me about a bill that was ALREADY PAID. Tried to speak with Shirley, the owner, this morning who yelled at me over the phone saying she got in contact with us. (which she absolutely did not) Totally unprofessional. Have never had the OWNER of a business yell at me. Especially when they’re in the wrong. Would highly consider looking for another company if you’re considering A1 pools. Has been nothing but issues dealing with them and truly isn’t worth it. Just trying to make potential customers aware of what you might be dealing with."

"Friendly staff, good prices, lots in stock. Makes Oliver's look like a backroad yard sale. Update 8/26/23: Still a great local spot. Beats some online prices, too."

"Shirley, Ron, Elaine and staff -Aside from being very friendly, they have years of knowledge and experience. They have been helping us restore a pool that hadn't been used for over 20 years. They did all of the resurfacing and the liner and it came out perfectly! Couldn't say enough about them! Would recommend A1 for all of your pool and spa needs."
