"So it is an amazing place! So beautiful! However it is not accessible for someone like me. The trail is accessible but the water is not. It is an extremely steep hill to get to the natural pool. Im 41 w/a connective tissue disease. I am not using motility aids. I have degenerated bones organs and basically every cell in my body was made wrong. I walk put hurt. I am still extrenly flexible. i Can go walking in an Amusement Park, or swim with my Daughter. This no. No way. ANYONE with slight issues in motility should not expect to get to the actual water. This is a beautiful place and i will walk the trails again however I went thinking I was talking my child swimming. Do not make that mistake & tell the kid you will be swimming, until you get there and see the steepness of the hills to go down to the water. Google says this is rated easy. No it is not. It is for fit people with good balance and dexterity. Please if your autoimmune, or degenerative disease, or arthritic, old injuries, or motility aids, DO NOT EXPECT TO GET TO THE WATER AND DO NOT EXPECT TO SWIM. It was still beautiful to look at tho. (ehlers danlos here)(rougher end of spectrum)"

"You can park down below on W Cohasset and follow the path up along the creek to the falls. You'll hit a small falls, and then the larger one at the top, near the road. I didn't see a trail to get down to the pool at the bottom of the big falls, but I scrambled down the steep hill to get there. I'd guess it had at most four feet of water, but it wasn't the wettest part of the year by far. Gorgeous, curved falls that nearly forms a circle along with surrounding rocks and hillsides. It was fairly secluded, even on a Saturday, and we saw few other people on the trail."

"Cascade Gorge is my favorite part of Mill Creek Park! The trail is very scenic and goes past two waterfalls. You can also walk down the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls, but this isn't always easy to do. It's especially difficult to get to the natural pool beneath the biggest waterfall, but it is possible and some people even swim in it. I especially recommend coming here after heavy rain when the waterfalls are the most active."
