"Alexia at the pharmacy is the absolute best. She went above and beyond helping me get my prescription filled. She's a great employee and works hard to help her customers."

"All staff is rude but manger “LORA” is at top of the list, I placed online order which was cancelled after the pickup time and when I asked to help me to transfer to new store and manger Lora refused to help me, when I asked what I should do she responded go and complain against me, although at this store I had bad customer service experience many times but today after seeing Manger Lora I found that why is customer service is so bad and she she is on the top of the list, will never visit this store again they are not helping and very rude. I wish I could have given star in negative."

"The pharmacist lie about prescription the status! I have had issues with this pharmacy several times with my dogs medication. On one instance I was picking up his medication and the pharmacist told me that they did not have a refill for his medicine. I called my vet and they said that the prescription was filled! They ended having to call the pharmacy and then calling me back to confirm that it was ready to be picked up, and I had to go back to the pharmacy to pick up the medication for the second time. Find another pharmacy to fill your prescriptions because you’ll end up having to go back and forth with your doctor and this pharmacy to ever get your prescriptions, and expect to miss some of your medication doses."

"Summary: Lied to by pharmacy staff and refused medication. I moved to Northern VA 2 years ago and have been using this Walgreens since arriving. My doctor is in VA Beach (where I was born and raised and my family still lives). She has been my primary care doctor for over 15 years, so I chose not to get a new doctor when moving to Sterling. This was never a problem at first. Out of no where, before heading on a huge camping trip, this Walgreens said they could no longer fill my medication because of the location of my doctor. They said it was a “new policy of 2 months that I knew about” (literally never heard of it before and had gotten other prescriptions less than a week prior). I was then told my doctor would have to send it to another Walgreens (how does that work if it’s a nationwide policy?) and then gaslit by the man working. Despite asking many questions and telling him my situation, it was clear he just wanted me to leave and did not care about providing any resources or help. Because I was refused, I had a medical crisis in the parking lot. Upon returning home I called 3 different Walgreens that all confirmed that is NOT the policy. For 1) it’s not new, they always have this in place and 2) it can be overridden with a valid reason and a call to the doctor (both of which could have been done). Which is how it hasn’t been a problem for the first two years I lived here. I have no idea what changed or why. They will not tell me. I cannot believe how confidently the man lied to me without any ounce of remorse. I’ve never had an issue getting my scripts filled and had good relationships with many that worked there. When I moved to Reston a few weeks ago, some of the staff recommended I didn’t move to the Walgreens in Herndon because of their documented bad service. So to have them turn around and then deny me was mind boggling. I have enjoyed working with most of them. It’s clear they do not want to be a part of my care team. I am heartbroken as now I have to transfer to CVS which my insurance doesn’t take."
