"I went to this pharmacy to get a prescription filled and the pharmacist technicians were less than helpful. If something doesn't work right away for them, they will tell you that you need to figure it out (when in reality, they are more than capable of calling to see what the issue is). Once I had finally figured out why I couldn't get my prescription filled, I was told by my Dr. to ask to see what other brands they have in stock and the pharmacist was rude and unwilling to check inventory unless I told her an exact drug and dosage (which is what I wanted to see was in stock before my Dr sent the prescription). Once I did find out what was in stock, the pharmacist refused to give me that medication because it was a higher dosage than what she would prescribe. Keep in mind - my doctor is the one that knows my medical history, weight, height and etc. So she told me I needed to figure it out and walked away. VERY disappointed in my experience at this store. I don't mind that I spent an hour there to find out my insurance wouldn't cover the first prescription but for the pharmacist to actually turn me away from that store afterwards is repulsive. FYI - I did get my prescription filled down the street with the same dosage she said she wouldn't give me and I'm so thankful because I actually need this medication. Imagine your doctor saying you need a certain medication and then be turned away at the pharmacy by someone you never talked to before and doesn't have any information about your medical history. Please do better."

"I called to speak to someone in the pharmacy. I was first in line. I stayed on hold for 15+ minutes, during which a man picked up the phone 3 times to quickly say "walgreens pharmacy please hold" and put me back on hold I was unable to speak otherwise. After 15 odd minutes the line was simply cut. I called back a second time. After another 14 minutes I finally got an answer and asked what was happening and why I was getting hung up on. (Which I don't agree with the response at all.) And was simply told they are too short staff, and have no one to answer the phone and that they are trying their best to answer all people. The higher ups need to see things like this and help out their pharmacies and staff. Whether that includes raising wages and hiring, adding messages to phones and giving new trainings on how things should be ran. Sending prescriptions to other locations etc Times are still hard for Healthcare professionals and the lack of support it going to cause they few staff you have left even more undue stress. (Plus, As you can tell it also leads to unprofessionalism and customer displeasure.)"

"This pharmacy was great until about 6 months ago. Now the average wait the last few times I have been there just to pick up my script when it's ready is about an hour. I really wish I was exaggerating. I feel bad rating them a three since everyone is so nice there, but the wait times are just crazy."

"The pharmacy in Abingdon on Emmorton Rd is the absolute worst pharmacy in Harford County. They have screwed up submitting my prescription multiple times. Then I spent 20 minutes on the phone with them with a person that put me on hold 10 times and said my script was submitted. I get there the next day and they said it was never submitted. So I had to come back. I pick that up and had another one submitted by the doctor so I am here tonight waiting in line for 20 minutes not moving with 8 people ahead of me. The service is so bad and they are so slow that its painful. I think no-one works here at all but 2 people. My very last time here!"

"I’ve used Walgreens pharmacies for a long time but this one is really not worth going to. They’ve been very unreliable as of recently (I.e., very long wait times for getting prescriptions filled, getting hung up on, getting incorrect information). Not sure if they’re understaffed or what, but highly recommend using a different pharmacy until they resolve some things."
