"HUSBAND/WIFE SCAMMERS! I regret not adhering to the bad reviews that I read, in which one said Dr. Eric Rabovsky was the most unethical person he had met, and another stated that there was always a mysterious charge with no explanation. I have experienced both of these situations. The front desk clerk, Eric’s wife Jody, is the biggest scammer I have ever come across. Unfortunately I let them talk me in to getting Invisalign (I’ll review Invisalign separately), however, you pay for it upfront. I started checking my insurance statements and noticed that every time I went into the office for an Invisalign related activity i.e. a scan, a check etc., they also submitted it to my insurance company. THEY ARE 100% DOUBLE DIPPING! Then he talked me into doing an experimental 3M bonding (again, will be reviewed separately). Jody told me that it’s not covered by the insurance company. They wanted me to pay $1200 out of my pocket. I called the insurance company and found out that it WAS covered by the insurance company. So Jody got very upset with me and said “well you said you would pay out of pocket!”. Why in the world would I pay out of pocket if it’s covered by the insurance company? These are only two experiences that I am sharing and will do a lengthier review later. My suggestion to anyone considering this practice, avoid them at all cost. If you are already a patient, don’t take their word when they say something is not covered by the insurance company, verify it yourself with the company! Also, check every single insurance statement and google each dental code to see if that’s really what was done for you. I would hate to see another person get ripped off like they tried to do to me. If/when Jody responds with her lies, I will gladly screen shot proof of everything. I am in the process of reporting them to the Dental Association as well as Delta Dental."
