"Awful dental practice. The interior is falling apart. The instruments are in worse shape. The staff is friendly, but the hygienists are terrible. Expect to wait 30-40 minutes in between each portion of your cleaning/exam. Last time, the doctor didn't even come in to examine my teeth. This time, the hygienist had to ask me if he had been in to see me. Then the doctor never showed. I left and will never come back. (1/5/24) I figured Dr. Ellis would get on here and try to justify her laughable business practices, so here's an update: 1) You never once communicated that I was waiting for 30-40 minutes in between each portion of my exam due to a scheduling issue. I simply sat there and twiddled my thumbs while your staff worked around me, never informing me of why I was waiting. Hence my shock to have the hygienist ask if I had been seen already. 2) I did not make a "FALSE" comment about not being seen by you at my last visit. I've been to your office 3 times. My initial visit, while unpleasant, didn't raise red flags. It's my last two visits my review is based on. So, you're not even aware of the number of visits or the complaints I've raised directly with your staff previously. 3) Please post some photos of your exam rooms and instruments in their current condition. Not sure how my opinion based on 3 visits is "unacceptable", but please continue to run your practice as you see fit. 4) Thanks for FINALLY apologizing for the nonsense I've experienced in your office. You did not meet my expectations. You don't meet the expectations of a dental office, hence my review. You care more about your online reviews than you do about patient experience. Sad."

"Great place. They can get a little busy sometimes but it is worth waiting. Dr. Ellis found some very sneaky cavities that my old dentist missed for potentially up to a year, and promptly got me scheduled to get those handled. The fillings barely took any time at all and the doctor was very patient and explained how and why these kinds of cavities happen and what can be done to prevent additional issues. Very gentle touch from Dr. Ellis during the procedure and I can’t even tell where she put the fillings one week later. The staff is very nice and organized despite the lobby being crazy busy at times."

"I would not recommend anyone here. The staff is phenomenal but I only saw the dentist once or twice. I know I missed appointments but I had family emergencies and other health issues that I couldn’t make the appointment. I never got the dismissal letter. I’m going to try another dentist and get to working on my teeth/mouth and hopefully, actually doing the job makes them happy and not just the money aspect. My face is swollen and I couldn’t see anyone today for an appointment I scheduled. But I went to an urgent dental and medical office by my house and I pray that I get some actual work done and relief from my swollen face and someone who cares. Like I said, the staff is phenomenal and respectful :)"

"My experience was horrible. My mother has waited 4 months for their office staff to complete paperwork for my mom to get dentures and they still have not submitted her paperwork to DC Medicaid. I have made numerous phone calls and visits to get this completed........no luck. Today I am requesting her records to move on with another dental office and their printer does not work at the front desk. Unorganized, excuses. I would suggest to go elsewhere."
