"Really good experience at this orthodontist. I was referred here for my child to see Dr. Jenkins and he is the absolute best! All of the staff were very friendly and comforting. It is also very clean inside which is a plus!"

"To start, the staff working under Dr. Jenkins are lovely and helpful. However, the (lack of) service we received from Dr. Jenkins is unconscionable. My son requires braces as prescribed by his dentist and Dr. Jenkins. Our insurance is through Maryland Healthy Smiles, who will cover the full cost of the braces if they deem the situation with the patients teeth is serious enough as determined through a rating system that the orthodontist and insurance company utilize. They will then either pay the full amount or nothing depending on how the patients teeth are rated. This arrangement between the insurance and dentist is at an agreed upon reduced fee. The orthodontist rated my sons situation lower than the threshold for coverage; meaning no insurance coverage for us. Maryland Healthy Smiles rated my sons situation high, meaning full coverage for us. Dr. Jenkins has denied treating my son because the insurance will cover the braces. To be clear, Dr. Jenkins has refused to treat my son as he will not be paid enough, even though he saw us knowing who our insurance carrier was and what the fee would be if the insurance would agree to cover the treatment. Dr. Jenkins interest is that of his financial gain, and not in the interest my son, his patient. Denying my son treatment, knowing there are very few orthodontists who take this insurance and with the understanding my son may likely need to go through another round of x-rays (aside from uncomfortable, dangerous) with a new orthodontist (if we're able to find one in our area) is purely appalling. Additionally, it illustrates the Dr. Jenkins as untruthful, as he claims he accepts this insurance, and we were never told that Dr. Jenkins may deny my son service in the event the braces would be covered. That I must choose even 1 star to rate Dr. Jenkins practice is terrible."

"The level of professionalism exceeded my expectations! My son was thrilled about his new braces and they looked fabulous! At the end of his appointment I had to watch a video providing detailed guidelines about how to care for his braces! My son was given a care package that contained hygiene products in addition to mouthwash! The hospitality was greatly appreciated!!"

"My daughter had a great experience. Everyone at the office were extremely nice and welcoming. The process was great. The 4-6 increment weeks were a good way of getting through the journey. They set out a list of rules for her follow and held her accountable if she broke them. The wait time was good, she got in a chair within 3 to 5 minutes after/ before her appointment time. Overall it was a great process for my daughter."
