Reviews
"A while back I wrote a review on how awful this place is. After multi days in a row my child came home with bruises. IM SO HAPPY THAT YOU GOT YOUR LICENSE PULLED. HOPEFULLY UP GO OUT BUSINESS NEXT YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT HAPPING TO YOU AND SOME. THE WORST HUMANS WORK HERE"
"Would NOT recommend this location. My experience with this location overall has been a negative one. My child has been able to make friends here and he liked attending quite a bit, but I had some concerns with the young and inexperienced staff. There are always new classroom teachers rotating in and out. This center seriously lacks consistency, which as you can imagine, is important for a child. Even the directors/managers change constantly. This location always seem extremely understaffed and the kids take full advantage of this, and are able to get away with a lot."
"Not a great experience! I toured Child Time of Churchville on the date of the tour things seemed a bit hectic. However my little guy had never attended a daycare center. So I wasn't sure how they typically run. The first day that I was dropping my son off for care. I stood at the front door for 20 minutes in return making me late for work. We had not been given a door code and there was no one in the front office. The assistant director was in a classroom due to lack of staff. They never seem to have enough staff. Meaning that teachers are constantly changing classrooms. When doing the tour I was told we would receive things like arts and crafts, and pictures of my son on a regular basis. In the few weeks he attended. I only received one maybe two photos, and no arts and crafts. He would attend from 11am to 6pm. So he was there a descent amount of time each day he was actually able to attend. We also opted to go with this center because they offer a live video feed. This was all new to my son and we thought that his teachers would engage more with him. There was usually so much chaos in the classrooms that the teachers did not have time to engage with him. Meaning that a lot of time he was off in a corner by himself. We also noticed things such as children reaching into his food bowl. As well as things such as children sucking on toys and then putting them down, climbing on chairs, laying under tables. I think we were thinking our son would be in a more controlled environment. In the first four days that my son attended he started with RSV and double pink eye. He was out for a good week we sent him back and several days later he tested positive for the flu and covid. I feel like with lack of employees the classrooms are not sanitized as well as they could be throughout the day. We decided the first week of the new year we were going to go back to a personal one on one sitter. My son missed a good three or four weeks of care due to illness. I missed a tremendous amount of work and was still charged $200 for the weeks he did not attend. We understand they have to charge something to hold a child's place. However notifications would go out about different illnesses in classrooms. Clearly when children are out due to illness coming from a classroom. We did not find $200 a week to be fair. We called to give notice that our son would not be coming back. We felt that he might pick up bad behaviors from his classroom friends. We felt like we were over paying. I was upset that my son wouldn't engage, and they didn't have the time to do so. We also could not continue to miss work for illness. We let them know on the 5th of January that we would be pulling him. They informed me even though he missed classroom time due to the illness from the center. We still owed $400. I understand this however we are not even into February. I received a somewhat snarky or rude email a few days ago. This email was to inform me that if I did not have the total paid by the 3rd of February they would be sending the bill to collections. So not even 30 days from the time my son was pulled. They are pretty much demanding (threatening collections) money from us that they had said we could make payments on. They said they understood we now had to pay for different care. They offer holiday crafts and parents night out. Then charge $15 a craft and $25 for parents night out. They seem to just be about making money. Certain staff members were amazing. Even though the overall experience was not great, and it's just overpriced. Dominique the assistant director, Jen from the twos room, and Chloe Poole who sadly has left the company. I hope these ladies who are trying to go above and beyond receive recognition! These ladies hold their composure and did everything they could to take care of the children in this center! Even with the chaos. I gave it two stars for the few staff members that we really enjoyed and took care of our son! If I were able to give certain employees 10 stars I would. The overall center needs a lot of work in areas. Would not recommend."
"I'm really excited about this location- the director Miss Erika is absolutely the best. She responsive, takes pride in her school, and makes it feel like a community, not just a daycare. While I wish it was closer to my house, I do know this center is getting the best director out there!"
