"We recently visited Chincoteague, Va for a long weekend and decided to see Chincoteague's beauty and nature by boat the first day and by kayak the next day. Our boat operator, Captain John, was able to show us the famous wild ponies of Assateague up close, a bald eagle in it's nest, and a small pod of dolphin which we were not counting on. Captain John's knowledge of the island and it's waterways were very impressive to say the least. The next day we rented kayaks on our own and were once again treated to the famous wild ponies ( even closer than by boat ) and assorted other marine life. A true nature lover's dream is how we would describe our time on the island. These activities are a must do if visiting Chincoteague."

"Best place to stay in Chincoteague Virginia if you like a great view of the light house and the Chincoteague national park. Great boat tours add to the experience where you get up close to the ponies with John the resort owner and extraordinary tour guide."
